Description Cholecystokinin A receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing CCKAR with no tag. HiTSeeker Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. The CCKAR Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate CCKAR. When a ligand binds to the CCKAR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by calcium. HiTSeeker CCKAR cell line has been validated measuring calcium concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with CCK. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring CCKAR receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
