LHCGR Cell Line

Description LHCGR Cell Line contains HEK293 cells stably expressing human Luteinizing Hormone-Choriogonadotropin Receptor (LHCGR) with no tag. The LHCGR cell line allows to: assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate LHCGR. When a ligand binds to the LHCGR, it activates a G protein, which in turn, triggers a cellular response mediated by second messengers (cAMP). This LHCGR cell line has been validated measuring cAMP concentration changes in the cytosol upon activation with rhCG. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring LHCG receptor activation process in High Throughput Screening.
