Fluorescent Somatostatin Receptor Type 2 Internalization Assay cell line

Description Green Fluorescent SST2 Somatostatin Receptor Cell Line contains U2OS cells stably expressing SST2R tagged with tGFP. These Cell lines proliferate in vitro maintaining fluorescent GPCR expression following the cell culture manual. Innoprot Green Fluorescent SST2 Somatostatin Receptor Cell Line allows to assay compounds, or analyze their capability to modulate SST2R activation and the following redistribution process inside the cells. When a ligand binds to the SST2 Receptor, it activates a G protein, which internalizes in big and high intensity vesicles. This cell line has been validated measuring Fluorescent SST2R redistribution by increase of fluorescence surrounding the nuclei using image analysis algorithms. The high reproducibility of this assay allows monitoring SST2 Receptor redistribution process in High Throughput Screening.
